'''The Accident Experiment''', also called '''AeX''', is a rock band based in [[San Diego, California]]. It was formed in [[2002]] when co-founder [[Marcos Curiel]] left former band [[P.O.D.]]

The band features Curiel on guitar, [[Pete Stewart]] ([[Grammatrain]], [[Tait]]) with the vocals, [[Tony Delocht]] on bass, and [[Ernie Longoria]] on drums (both from [[Sprung Monkey]]).

The band's first [[Extended play|EP]], ''Arena'', was released in 2003. In 2005, the band signed to indie label Rock Ridge Music, and their first full-length album,''United We Fear'', was released May 9, 2006. A video has been shot and released for the first single ''Sick Love Letter''.

Curiel and Longoria began [[jamming]] and they solidly evolved into a steady rock act opening to [[Foo Fighters]], [[Drowning Pool]], [[Staind]], and other known bands.
