MC Kats attended Namilyango Primary School, Busoga College Mwiri for Secondary School, Kitante Hill School for [[Uganda Certificate of Education]] and Makerere High School for [[Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education]] .

He worked on WBS TV when he  was 13 years of age.
