Revision 2603829 of "Talk:Games" on enwikibooks== Different book title == This book really needs to have a more descriptive title. Single-word titles are almost always a problem, as they either show that the book has an ill-defined topic or fail to describe the topic. Just for good measure, there's also a technical awkwardness because there is a Subject:Games with associated subject-category :Category:Games, interfering with the most naturally expected name for the book-category. Take a look at the info on starting a new book at Using Wikibooks. --Pi zero (discuss • contribs) 01:08, 23 January 2014 (UTC) :What would be a better title? StudiesWorld (discuss • contribs) 21:36, 24 January 2014 (UTC) :: The title depends on the scope. What topic is the book intended to cover? One of the reasons an over-general title is bad is that it may be a symptom of an over-general scope. I'm not sure what you intend here, really. If you're going to cover every game ever created, you need to have an angle, an aspect of games that makes this a book rather than an encyclopedia. We ahve entire books about some games, already; see [[Subject:Games] :: You might do a once-through of WB:WIW, to get a feel for it, and there may be some good advice in Using Wikibooks (which is itself a featured book). :: What do you have in mind for this book? --Pi zero (discuss • contribs) 22:07, 24 January 2014 (UTC) All content in the above text box is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license Version 4 and was originally sourced from https://en.wikibooks.org/w/index.php?oldid=2603829.
