See packetpage titled "Google Trends".  Some of this is graph interpretation. Point F appears to be around 13% while the Obama visit appears to be at 75%.  My math says this is 5.7 times as much interest. 2009 most interesting looks about 35%.  The "Google Trends: Auriemma vs. Hardwick" page verifies the USA based searching. Don't mean to be a wet blanket, recognizing this is under development, but, fwiw:  The headline and lede atm are leaving me uncertain what is the news focus.
