Revision 1455119 of "Talk:League of Legends" on enwikiquotecheckcopyright
Deletion
Finalize policy regarding video game pages, then we can talk about deletion. You say they aren't memorable, I say the quotes on the Halo, Warcraft III, and Psychonauts pages aren't memorable. As for copyright violations, most of these are a mere two to four words, and can't be copyrighted. Again, take a look at Halo, Warcraft III, and Psychonauts, if you think this is needed. :Also, I'm not done editing this. However, I am going to wait to see how this whole deletion thing turns out before I put more work into it. Drew R. Smith (talk) 02:47, 16 June 2012 (UTC)
::We have a dilemma here. A quote of a mere two to four words that can't be copyrighted is unlikely to be a good quote. A handful of good quotes is OK under fair use and if you can find those, nobody will complain. If you just leave things as they are, the article will almost certainly be deleted.--Collingwood (talk) 07:18, 17 June 2012 (UTC)All content in the above text box is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license Version 4 and was originally sourced from https://en.wikiquote.org/w/index.php?oldid=1455119.
