What must he do? The dDevil is a symbol of the ego of   man. The ego is based on the attachment to external thingsriches and pleasure, on the rejection to suffering situations and on ignorance of the wayof misery, and on negligence of inner happiness (unwisdom). If we focus on the development of inner happiness, we can come from hHell to hHeaven. We have to let our false wishes go. We have to take things as they are. We have to be modest in outer things and to concentrate us on the development of  inner happiness.
