Korean [[노른자]] (nolunca) is an abbreviation of [[노른자위]] (noluncawi), from nol- ("yellow") + -un (의) + [[자위]] (cawi, "part of eyeball or egg (of birds etc.) differentiable by colour" 눈알이나 새 따위의 알에서, 빛깔에 따라 구분되는 각각의 부분).
