This template fills the contents for a category for terms derived from a Proto-Indo-European word. The string appearing would be ''L terms that originate ultimately from the Proto-Indo-European word W.'', where L is a language, and W is a PIE word. It also includes in the following categories:
* Category:L terms by PIE root
* Category:Terms derived from the PIE word W
* [[:Category:Terms derived from Proto-Indo-European roots]]
