# An art form, in which the artist creates his or her work through some form of destruction. This includes, but is not limited to:
* Burning of objects.
* Carving (excluding sculptures, statues and the likes).
* Cutting or slashing canvas.
* Demolition of buildings.
* Photography of explosions.

It should be noted that suffering, pain, and despair, if caused by the creation of these works, does not constitute as, and should not be related with the ruinism movement. Ruinism does not include:
* Drawings/paintings/imitations of destruction.
* Destruction intended to cause harm or distress.
