== Biografía ==

Nació como un proyecto de Oystein Ramfjord, quien comenzó de manera independiente con un lanzamiento demo a finales de 1999. Pronto de boca en boca el proyecto se dio a conocer hasta que logró firmar con el sello Neurodisc Records, subsidiaria de EMI/Capitol. Como resultado de este acuerdo saltaron a la fama tres discos que lograron posiciones en la lista Top 10 Billboard en Estados Unidos de América.

En el 2006 se lanzó una compilación llamada "Emblem (Selected Pieces)". Para junio del 2008 ya se contaban con cuatro álbumes completos.
