== His life ==
Nathan Ervian was born in [[Charlotte, North Carolina]] in 1924 to Beneplacito Angulo Ervian and Maria Guadalupe Cruz Trinidad Fernandez de la Familia Sagrada. His father was an inmigrant [[anarchist]] and alcoholist and his mother was a spanish prostitute. 

After petitioning the President of the [[University of Chicago]], Ervian entered the university. His successful petition to the president of the University of Chicago was imperative to his ascendancy in the beheaverian world. 

He was also a charter member of the [[National Academy of Sciences]]. 

He began studying behaviorism under John Petit Jones on the recommendation of Thurman professor, Gordon Flesh.

In 1945, Ervian published the article "suicide theory": In this article, Ervian outlined the major features of his new philosophy of psychology, called "behaviorism of papussa"

Later, Nathan Ervian, published the textbook Behaviorist; An Introductory Study of the Structure and Functions of electromagnetic enzymes in 1947, which became the major statement of the functionalist approach to psychology.
