Hi! I'm [https://guillaumepaumier.com Guillaume Paumier], a French Wikimedian mainly active on the French-language Wikipedia, Commons and meta. 

I completed my [[:w:en:Ph.D.|Ph.D.]] in the field of [[:w:en:Lab-on-a-chip|labs-on-chips]] and [[:w:en:microfluidics|microfluidics]] for [[:w:en:analytical chemistry|analytical chemistry]] in November 2008. I have a particular interest for [[:w:en:science outreach|science outreach]] and photography; you may have come across [[c:User:guillom/gallery|some of my photos]].

I've been serving the Wikimedia community as a volunteer since 2005 in almost every possible role, from writing Wikipedia articles to giving presentations, doing [[m:stewards|crosswiki service work]], helping [[:m:Small Wiki Monitoring Team|small wikis deal with vandalism]], creating [[m:Wikimedia documents initiative|documents]], operating [[m:User:Seven-League Bot|a bot]], organizing events, translating texts and software, administering the [[m:Wikimédia France/en|French Wikimedia chapter]], co-authoring [http://www.amazon.fr/dp/2706114959/ a book on Wikipedia], and co-leading the [[:w:Wikipedia:Volunteer Response Team|Volunteer response team]].

I am currently working for the Wikimedia Foundation as a [https://lists.wikimedia.org/pipermail/wikimediaannounce-l/2014-October/000993.html Senior Analyst]. Before that, I worked as [[foundation:Job openings/Product Manager - Multimedia Usability|Product Manager]] for the [[:m:Multimedia usability project report|Multimedia usability project]] (2009–2010) and as [[:foundation:Job openings/Technical Communications Manager|Technical Communications Manager]] (2011–2014).
