2012年6月1日，132运动对[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Federal_Electoral_Institute 联邦选举部门（IFE)]要求全国播出第二四名候选人之间的辩论，和举办2012年6月22日的第三辩论。拟议的第三次辩论的目的是涵盖范围更广的问题。虽然IFE拒绝了两个请求，墨西哥的两个国家电视网络播出了第二次辩论。
