==Biografia==
Al Barr è sposato con Jessica, con dalla quale ha avuto nel 2004 un figlio: Strummer (in onore al musicista 
[[Joe Strummer]]).

==Carriera==
Oltre ad essere il cantante dei Dropkick Murphys, è stato il fondatore e il frontman del gruppo [[The Bruisers]], che ha formato nel [[1988]] a [[Portsmouth (New Hampshire)|Portsmouth]]. È entrato per la prima volta in una band nel [[1984]], precisamente nei D.V.A. (Direct Vole Assault). È stato anche nei 5 Balls of Power, con i futuri membri di [[Scissorfight]], [[The Radicts]], [[L.E.S. Stitches]] e [[U.S. Bombs]], prima di formare i Bruisers.
