Spostandosi dai percorsi turistici, come ad esempio nel quartiere di Dusit, le bancarelle cambiano totalmente aspetto, merci e clienti (i Thailandesi). Non più vestiti, cd e ninnoli vari, ma verdura, pesce, e frutta variopinta. In questo quartiere ci si sente osservati perché è inconsueto vederci degli occidentali.
