One time you mentioned that you couldn’t get into the actual structure of Navajo before you worked through "the only verb-based book on the market". Which book were you referring to? :Hm. Forgot the context. The big "Analytical Lexicon" comes to mind. I only aquired that recently, so maybe that's the one I meant. Choyoołʼįįhí:Seb az86556 > haneʼ 12:11, 17 Wóózhchʼį́į́d 2013 (UTC)
::I’m envious, I’d love to have that book. Someday. I should have asked you at the time, but I thought it would be obvious...but it wasn’t. Then I thought it might have been the Navajo Verb System (an overview), but that book is so dense and tightly packed with complex data that I could not imagine how anyone could "work through it". Young and Morgan were a pair of geniuses. —Stephen (> haneʼ) 16:07, 17 Wóózhchʼį́į́d 2013 (UTC)

I wonder if we could put Lua programming language to good use here. I don’t know much about it, but I’ve seen some of it in action. For example, on Wiktionary we use en:wikt:Module:nl-common to make Dutch entries sort properly for Dutch. It looks to me like it would be simple to use a module like that for Navajo sorting. :That's a good idea, I'll have a look, thanks. I suspect that it works for the order, but not for creating new letters such as tłʼ. Choyoołʼįįhí:Seb az86556 > haneʼ 12:30, 21 Wóózhchʼį́į́d 2013 (UTC)

Maybe we should have a procedure for removing long-term inactive administrators...so that Meta-Wiki would not take that right for themselves. —Stephen (> haneʼ) 10:05, 24 Tʼą́ą́chil 2013 (UTC)
:I thought about that, too; personally, I'd go with one year, no edits. Nishąʼ? Choyoołʼįįhí:Seb az86556 > haneʼ 15:45, 24 Tʼą́ą́chil 2013 (UTC)

I think it would be a great idea if we could have a page that showed the extended family terms. A lot of people are forgetting these, and I don’t know of a source where they can find out about it. Yellowhair has that page that shows immediate family from the viewpoint of a woman. I know it would be very complicated and I have no idea how it could be designed, but I think it would be immensely interesting. [[Choyoołʼįįhí:Stephen G. :That's out of scope, you're thinking in dictionary-terms. I'm busy with other stuff right now, but I'll eventually get you one for wiktionary. But the notion that people are forgetting these is a fantasy; nobody's fortgetting these, even if it's the last thing they'll maintain.
