Deborah is a Zambian female gospel song singer and writer. She was born on 28 April, [[1992]] in Lusaka Zambia. Chashi is a Christian. Completed her education in 2011 at Olympia Secondary school in Lusaka.

AT THE age of 16, Deborah Chashi aka Deborah C, was once involved in a series of activities which left most her peers puzzled.
“I perceived myself as a tom-boy and belonged to a group of young, though notorious gangsters, who robbed and attacked innocent people,” she says about her life in Lusaka’s Matero.

All this happened right under the nose of her four siblings and parents.
