This is the parent category for language specific categories such as [[:Category:Articles containing French language text]] and [[:Category:Articles containing Spanish language text]].  It also contains articles with non-English language quotes in languages which don't yet have a category.

The purpose of these categories is to facilitate manual or automated checking of text in other languages.

These categories should only be added with the {{Tl|Lang}} family of templates, never explicitly.
