'''Preyn Nikolay''' Born on December 20th, 1985 in Irkutsk city, USSR, Russian athlete of track and field athletics. Preyn had been specializing in pole-vaulting for a period of 15 years, 1993 to 2008. Sports awards:

Nikolay Preyn started pole vaulting at the age of eight, in September 1993, with  Uriy Didenko as his coach. At the of age 15 Nikolay jumped his first 5 meters and won the second prize on the world as reported in track and field athletics magazine “Legkaya Atletika” (pring issue, 2002) by protocol records of 2001. For a period of 1994 to 2002 Nikolay Preyn proved himself to be an outstanding world class sportsman. Nikolay Preyn showed an interest in Russian teams and sport clubs. Due to a serious back injury in spring of 2002 and the loss of his father, Nikolay had to take a two-year break. Against doctors' recommendations he continued a serious treatment, which enabled him to come back to sport again. After a complete recovery he took part in Russian Winter Championship in January 2004. 

In summer 2004 Nikolay Preyn graduated from Technical Secondary School of Physical Education in Irkutsk. Than he moved to Moscow and entered Russian State University of Physical Education. During the next 4 years Nikolay Preyn won Russian Student Championship in 2005, 2006, Russian Junior Championship in 2006, became a member of the Russian national team in 2006, 2007, and a member of European Top 30 in 2006. He set his current personal record of 5.30 meters twice, at the Russian Championship on February 10th 2006 in Saransk and the Russian Cup on July 16th 2006 in Tula. Nikolay played for CSKA from 2005 to 2008. In March 2008 Nikolay Preyn shot an advertisement for Olympic Games 2008 as a sport’s model at the OPA Studios in Bejing. Nikolay graduated with honors from Russian State University of Physical Education with a Bachelor’s Degree in June 2008. Later Nikolay Preyn left  professional pole-vaulting and became  a physical consultant. 

In July 2008 Nikolay Preyn started his graduate studies in Sport Management at Russian State University of Physical Education. Meanwhile he was working as a personal trainer at the TERRASPORT fitness club, “Fitness Holding”. During the next 3 years Nikolay Preyn proved himself to be a skillful personal trainer with 5% to 20% body improvement results. He also worked with people who had problems with their locomotor system. Nikolay created individual training programs based on age and physical characteristics. Nikolay worked on creating such programs as “Stop smoking” and “Train your discount”, a promotion program for regular customers. Also Nikolay Preyn wrote a dissertation on the subject of Marketing for “Fitness Holding Grp”, which Interviewed 2500 members of Fitness Holding sport clubs. By there result of dissertation was presented at the 29th international fitness conference IHRSA in San Diego in March 2010.   

After graduating from the university Nikolay Preyn moved to Los Angeles, California in June 2011, where he lives and shows an interest in sport and fitness to present time.
