It is about a young 4-year-old who lives with his dad named Boris, his mom named Doris, and his 2-year-old sister named Rosie. Caillou lives in a blue house on 17 Pine Street. Caillou was first voiced by Bryn McAuley, then Jaclyn Linetsky, but due to her death in 2003, Jaclyn was replaced with Annie Bovaird. ==About the show== The show is about a young boy named Caillou who lives with his mom, Doris; his dad, Boris; his little sister, Rosie; and his pet cat, Gilbert. Mr. Hinkle lives next door to Caillou's house and Caillou has a babysitter named Julie. In the first season, Caillou was 2–3 years old and wore a gray shirt, but later, he wore a yellow shirt. In season 4, Caillou started going to preschool. Many of these characters play a large part in Caillou's life as he grows up and experiences life differently everyday. For example, when Mr. Hinkle, the next door neighbor, is doing something interesting like baking a pie or visiting a relative, he always invites Caillou along if he wants to come. Caillou is heavily influenced by those around him and comforts them if they aren't happy. ==Production== The show aired in Canada between 1998–2006 and the episodes were later translated from French to English. Caillou is meant for kids ages 2–6 and translated from French to English, Caillou means stone or pebble, like Caillou's head which is bald and like a pebble. Due to heavy controversies throughout the entire series forced productions to stop. The last episode aired in October 2010. Intern Malcom DPDCA quit a month before due to very heavy depression and was thought to be from Caillou, but after a series of interviews, it was found to be false and that there were other things in life. This was one of the more prominent versions of what people rumored about the end of Caillou. ==Funding== *Palm Bay PastPBSKids shows tv-stub az:Caillou de:Caillou en:Caillou es:Caillou fr:Caillou (série télévisée d'animation) it:Caillou ku:Caillou ja:ケイルー pl:Kajtuś pt:Caillou fi:Kaapo (animaatiosarja) tr:Caillou uk:Кайю All content in the above text box is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license Version 4 and was originally sourced from https://simple.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?diff=prev&oldid=3991847.
