In 2006 Ben served as Head of Story on ''9'' (2009) produced by [[Focus Features]] and Tim Burton. He directed "[[Alpha and Omega (film)|Alpha and Omega]]" a 3-D computer animated feature; it 
gained a cult following among fans and audiences and it currently ranks as Lionsgate's highest-grossing animated feature to date. 

Ben received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Character Animation from the  [[California Institute of the Arts]].
