From [[April 1]], [[2002]] through [[December 31]], [[2007]], The channel had only aired between 5:00am and 10:00pm EST/2:00am and 7:00pm PCT with  [[The N|Fox Noggin at Nite]] airing through the rest of the channel's airtime.

Fox Noggin Channel was originally created as a joint venture between [[Viacom]]'s [[Nickelodeon (TV channel)|Nickelodeon]], [[News Corporation]] and the [[Children's Television Workshop]] (now [[Sesame Workshop]]), but Sesame Workshop's interest was sold to Nickelodeon in [[2002]]. The first broadcast on the Fox Noggin Channel was ''[[The Simpsons]]'' episode "Bart's Dog Gets an F" aired at 7 a.m. ET, followed by the "Please Stand By"/"Super Show Time" commercial from WPWI-TV. They also aired religious programming like ''Davey and Goliath'' from 1999 to 2004. From 2000 to 2002, ''The Late Show'' aired at 12am-1am. Until 2007, they also air live-action programming which include short subjects, TV shows and feature films which now air on other networks.⏎

At the time of its launch, Fox Noggin Channel was a premium channel that aired for 16 hours a day, from 7 a.m.-11 p.m. ET/PT. During its first full year, the channel was available to more than 532,000 subscribers in the U.S.A. In March 2000, the channel extended its programming day to 18 hours a day by adding two hours to its late night schedule, with the channel now broadcasting daily from 7 a.m.-1 a.m. ET/PT. On March 30, 2001, Fox Noggin Channel began broadcasting 24 hours a day.
