* In 1956 the academic department of Child care was set upopened.
* In 1969 department Home economics Ddivided into two majors
** Home economics: this major changed to Life and Culture in 1990.
** Food and Nutrition
* In 1994 English Communication was set up again (But the last year of accepting students is 2001,ended on March 31,2003.)
* Now this junior college is the only junior college in Wakayama Prefecture.
