'''The Phantoms''' is an American pop rock band based in Andover, Minnesota formed in 2012. The band currently consists of vocalist River Stumpf, rythme guitarist Brent Bruner, bassist Kyle Gosiak, and percussionist Jarred Feazell and is signed to Columbia Records. The band formerly signed to Sub Pop Records prior to gaining mainstream worldwide success in early 2013 with the release of their top-ten single "ight 'Em Up", which was critically acclaimed and was praised for it's arena rock anthem revival. The band released their debut album, ''The Phoenix'' on July 16, 2013 and peaked at number 13 on the U.S. Billboard 200. Following the success of their top-forty hit singles "The Phoenix", "Death Valley", and "Alone Together", the band toured extensively in support of their debut album with Youngblood Hawke, Walk the Moon, Young the Giant, New Politics, Capitol Cities, and Nate Ruess. In 2014, the band released the single "Centuries" which peaked within the top 10 in 34 countries. In August 2014, the band served as supporting acts on the Carnivores Tour with Thirty Seconds to Mars and Linkin Park. On February 10, 2015, the band released their second studio album, ''Poisoned Youth'' and charted at number 5 on the Billboard 200 and at number 3 on the Canadian Albums chart.

On April 13, 2015, the band revealed in an interview with Kerrang Magazine that they were writing and prepping production for a third studio album and sequel to ''Poisoned Youth'', set for a release in 2016.

The band has sold 4 million albums and single units worldwide since being signed to Columbia Records and Universal Music Group and have been listed as "one of the most aspiring live rock acts of the new millenium" by Rolling Stone.
