==Controversy==
Juengling has been criticized for his positions on civil issues and for his activism. In reference to purchasing the domain names, writer Brian Anderson called Juengling an extortionist who "is holding [the domains] hostage until they bow to his will."<ref name=controversy>{{cite news|last1=Anderson|first1=Brian|title=Gay Activist Extorts Indiana Lawmakers Who Voted For Religious Freedom Law|url=http://downtrend.com/71superb/gay-activist-extorts-indiana-lawmakers-who-voted-for-religious-freedom-law|accessdate=26 June 2015|publisher=Downtrend|date=Apr 21, 2015}}</ref> Criticism has also come from within the gay community, including ''Pink News'', who stated "We could not possibly condone such a petty move."<ref name=pinknews>{{cite news|last1=Duffy|first1=Nick|title=Activist buys up website domains of Republicans who voted for Indiana’s anti-gay law|url=http://www.pinknews.co.uk/2015/04/21/activist-buys-up-website-domains-of-republicans-who-voted-for-indianas-anti-gay-law/|accessdate=26 June 2015|publisher=Pink News|date=Apr 21, 2015}}</ref>

Responding to his criticism, Juengling stated during an interview that he does not read the comments on articles about him or on articles he's written.<ref name=ENDA />
