On a radio show in 2015, Juengling audibly laughed at Bryan Fischer of the [[American Family Association]] whyn Fischer compared business being required to serve LGBTQ people with slavery, in that they both had to perform labor against their will. Juengling stated, "It is laughable. I absolutely believe in someone being able to practice their religious rights. That is built into our constitution, and pretty much what this country was founded on. However, religious rights should not equal discrimination. Those rights stop when you are infringing upon someone else's. So I take religious rights to mean you can attend whatever church you want, you can worship however you want to in your home, you can believe whatever you want to, because there isn't a thought police, and you have the right to believe whatever you want. But if you denying services to someone, it is no longer just about you. It's about discriminating against someone else at that point."<ref name=ethicalconsumerism /> increasing literacy, and other pro-LGBTQ stances.

Juengling has stated that he believed the pushback against the RFRA was led by the LGBTQ community because he believes "the reason for the is gay people, or LGBTQ people, are almost the last frontier or the last group that it's really ok to discriminate against by being socially acceptable... The discrimination just falls under the umbrella of religious freedoms."
