It debuted and peaked at number 13 on the U.S. Billboard 200 selling 46,000 copies within it's first retail week.

Following extensive touring in support of the band's fourth studio album, ''Closure'' (2014), the band entered Cargo Studios in San Jose, California in early October to begin recording for their fifth studio album. In early November, the band finished recording their new material.
