'''Weekend View''' was a weather program on [[The Weather Channel]] airing from 5-11 a.m. Eastern Time Saturdays and Sundays. Its timeslot can be the equivalent to Morning Rush on weekdays, but it aired for six hours compared to the three hour run of Morning Rush. It featured the weather for the weekend and also next week.

== Program history ==
Weekend View launched on October 1, 2005, replacing Weekend Planner. It was originally scheduled to launch on September 17, 2005, but due to the busy hurricane season, its launch was pushed 2 weeks later to 1 October 2005. The first meteorologists were Dao Vu, Kelly Cass, Bill Keneely, and Stephanie Abrams.

In the fall 2006, Stephanie Abrams left to anchor ''Abrams and Bettes: Beyond the Forecast'' with Mike Bettes and she was not replaced. In September 2007, Samantha Mohr joined the program, replacing Kelly Cass, who moved to ''PM Edition''. Cass later returned to the program in May 2008. In April 2008, Dao Vu left the program and he was not replaced.

On March 7, 2009, Weekend View expanded its timeslot from 7-11 a.m. Eastern to 5-11 a.m. Eastern. At this point, Bill Keneely moved to the late night edition of PM Edition. Betty Davis and Kelly Cass co-hosted the 7-11 a.m. block. Jeff Morrow and Alex Wallace co-hosted the 5-7 a.m. block. On July 31, 2010, Betty Davis left The Weather Channel and was replaced by Maria LaRosa. However in November, Kelly Cass moved to ''Weather Center Live'' and Maria LaRosa joined Todd Santos for ''Weekend Now.'' Jen Carfagno and Eric Fisher replaced them for the 7-11 a.m. block.

In July 2012, Wallace moved to ''First Outlook,'' and he was replaced by Danielle Banks. In October, Jeff Morrow left TWC, he was replaced by Ray Stagich. In November, Banks left for ''Weekend Now'' and ''Weather Center Live'', and she was not replaced.

If there is a major weather event, Weekend View will air from 3-7 a.m. and a co-host will join Stagich at that time.

In July 2013, Eric Fisher left the network, and he was replaced by Reynolds Wolf.

On November 10, 2013, Weekend View produced their last show. The show was replaced by a all-day ''Weather Center Live'' program on November 16, as part of the 2013 relaunch of TWC.
