[[Mitosis]] is the type of cell division that form 2 identical daughter cells.
[[Mitosis]] is important for 1.Growth, 2.asexual reproduction 3.replace and repair damaged cells. The process that takes place before cell division{Mitosis} is called [[interphase]] where DNA replication makes copy of itself

Mitosis has 4 phases:

2. [[Metaphase]]
3. [[Anaphase]]
4. [[Telophase]]
We use the acronym P.MAT for knowunderstanding the correct order that takes place.

= [[Chromosomes]] line up at the equator (in the middle of spindle fibres)

= [[chromosomes]] are pulled to opposite poles by [[spindle fibres]] forming two identical [[daughter cells]]

4. [[Telophase]]
