Josif Stalin
His actual first name is not Josef nor Joseph. It is russian version of these 2; Josif.
(contracted; show full)

3) The Molotow-Ribbentrop agreement was signed BEFORE the Nazi/USSR attack on Poland, not after as the article implies.

stalin, katyn and kremlin
Joseph Stalin's body was removed from Lenin mausoleum on October 31 1961, on the even of All Saints Day. This was very ironic, because it was during a holiday (All Saints Day) he had banned when he came to power. Stalin's death also came exactly 13 years to the minute of signing Katyn execution orders (aka Katyn Massacre) on March 5 1940 at 9:50pm.
Nikita Khrushchev ordered his body be removed and buried behind the Kremlin Wall in a simple grave. Removal was part of the successful destalinization process started by Khrushchev in March 1953. By 1956, all towns named and cities named after Stalin were renamed worldwide.
