==Early life and education==
Aafi was born on 5 October 1999 in [[Doru Shahabad]], a historical town in the Anantnag district of Jammu ad Kashmir. He completed his primary studies from Government Middle School, Nathipora and moved to Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Anantnag in 2010.<ref name="sqnews"/> He studied in the Navodaya for about 3 years and left it after completing his middle studies in March 2013.<ref name="sqnews"/> Aaqib Aafi completed his intermediate studies from Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education in 2017 and then obtained a diploma in Urdu lan(contracted; show full){{Reflist}}
