She has won awards for both her watercolor and oil works. She has shown her work in many local exhibitions. 

She began her career by making and selling cocktail skirts and sweaters. They sold for $40-$100 and had the local women knitting sweaters and sewing the skirts. They also developed hand painted Ski Postcards.<ref>
