Soto was born on 1993 in [[Puerto Rico]]. She has a master's degree in intercultural mediation from the University of Leuven in Belgium. For the past 2 years she has worked for a European organization in Brussels and for the French Embassy in Washington DC. A multilingual, Estefania is fluent in English, Spanish as well as French.

==Pageantry==
Soto began her pageantry career representing [[:en:San Sebastián, Puerto Rico|San Sebastián]] in the Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2019 on June 13, 2019. She placed as the 1st runner-up and lost to eventual winner [[:en:Madison Anderson|Madison Anderson]]. On September 24, 2020, Soto was appointed as Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2020.
