in what way was Verdis considered a fake/hoax? If you look at the deletion log of the media files, the deletion was only proposed and backed by one person (The Banner). That person's talk page on commons is shown to have aggression and even admins have suggested not to talk to him.

Sure verdis was founded by a then 14-year-old kid but so were many other Micronations on Wikipedia such as [[w:Austenasia]]. That shouldn't make it a hoax. It has reached enough notability on WRAL, RTL, TELEX, and more.

Micronations are not always serious, for example [[w:Molossia]]. This does not mean they should be deleted. If you believe otherwise, you can start an RFD, but give everyone a voice.
