In the spring of 1887, Grubicy de Dragon was Antonio and Luisa Violini's guest for the first time in Fiumelatte, a village on the border of Lierna mentioned by Leonardo da Vinci as "fiumelaccio" in the Codex Atlanticus. He would go for walks and he was impressed by Lierna. He dedicated many works to her.
