There are many [[Hindu temple|temples]] across the wide Uthiyur hills maintained by Hindu Religious & Charitable Endowments Department of Government of Tamil Nadu. Few important ones are Uthanda Velayudhasamy Temple, Chetti Thambiran Temple and Uchi Pilayar Temple.
