On August 19, 2020, he agreed to plead guilty in federal court to possessing child pornography and traveling to pay for sex with minors. Tsimiklis formally pleaded guilty to the charges on November 19 of that year, and was sentenced to serve 15 years, 8 months in federal pr[[taekwondo]] practitioner. He holds a 2nd Dan. He made his [[international]] debut for [[Australia]] at the [[World Taekwondo Championships]] in the -25 year old [[sparring]] on 9 July 2014 where he placed 2nd for Australia in his first international competition. He also won the Australian [[Taekwondo National Championship]] in 2015 for the -68kg weight category in [[sparring]]. He competed in [[Taekwondo]] at the Arnold Classic Australia 2015. He placed first in his division, with a minimum of 13 years before becoming eligible for early release.
