(contracted; show full)006]] the refuge was purchased (by Elena Buzzi) by the CAI of Milan and then donated to the CAI of Mandello. From that year the refuge will be called "Bietti-Buzzi". Between 2007 and 2009, with the reconstruction of the water collection tanks, the construction of a winter bivouac for passers-by and the reconstruction of the building, the refuge underwent renovations.

== Features and information ==
It rises in the karst basin of the Releccio, in the presence of the Grignone and the Sasso Cavallo.
 The refuge is renowned for its good food.

== Logins ==
From the Cainallo pass, parking at Val di Cino or Vo 'del Moncodeno, it is possible to reach the refuge in 1h30' along path 24 passing through the Porta di Prada, a natural karst arch.
Or you can start from Somana, a hamlet of Mandello del Lario and take path number 15 which in about 3h30 'will allow you to reach the refuge.
