According to legendary accounts, the early dynasty of Nepal was the Gopala Dynasty established by Yaduvanshi Abhira (Gopa), who presumably ruled for about five centuries. They are said to have been followed by the Mahispala Dynasty established by Yaduvanshi Abhira.⏎
