Irina and her longtime partner Yury Agibalov has been married on July 14, 1985. The spouses have three children: two daughters Olga Gazhiyenko (born on November 25, 1986) and Margarita Agibalova (born on August 22, 1990), son Oleg Agibalov (born on December 10, 1999).

On December 15, 2009 she became a grandmother, her daughter Margarita Agibalova gave birth to a baby boy named Dmitry Kuzin.
