Prof. Ndoc Luli, born in Shkoder (Albania.
He founded the Geodesy Department at the University of Tirana.
He was an esteemed professor and has been attributed the title professor from the Unites States.
Prof. Luli attended some years at the Jesuit primary school in his native city, before leaving Albania for military studies in Italy. He has studied at the Naples Military School along with other children from Royal European families.
He has graduated at the Military Academy of Modena and has also studied at the Military Geographical Institute in Florence, Italy. Prof. Luli has developed numerous maps for Italy.
During his professional career in Italy, he has been part of the Italian Finance Police (Guardia di Finanza).
After W.W.II, prof. Luli decided to live in Tirana, Albania, where he founded the Geodesy Department at the University of Tirana.
He was married in Tirana and had two children.
