Revision 4050924 of "House of Atreus" on simplewiki{{no sources|date=December 2012}}
== Tantalus ==
The house of Atreus was a fictional family in [[Greek mythology]] known for its curse that passed on from generation to generation. It all began with that Tantalus killed his own son, and served him to the Gods to see if they would notice. The Gods did notice, and as punishment Tantalus were sent to the Underworld. There he was stuck and when he wanted to eat he tried to grasp for fruits on branches, but each time he tried, the branches turned away from him. Then he tried to reach for water, but each time he tried the water went away from him. This went on and on forever.
The Gods did bring back Pelops from death. But he had a bit of ivory in his shoulder, that would curse his children, his grandchildren, and his great-grandchildren and so forth.
== Pelops ==
Pelops sabotaged the chariot of the father of his future wife, to win her as a prize in a competition, which he also did. However, the sabotage lead to what would have been his future father in law's death.
