Daniel lived in an [[Orphanage|orphanage]] in [[Romania|Navodari]]. He grew up with his twin brother at the orphanage until he was 4 years old. He also has a sister who is adopted from the same country.

In the summer of 2012 Daniel published a video on Youtube, that everyone had a duty to do something for the children, which he himself said in the video that he had a duty to do something for poor children. The video was later deleted, but after a while it was posted on 7 September at the same site.
