==Biography==
Gluck was born in [[St. Louis, Missouri]]. He started his career by directing the animated short ''Man's Best Friend'', which premiered on MTV and won the Walter Lantz Award as well as the New York Independent Animation Award for best animated short. Ben then worked at [[Walt Disney Feature Animation]] as a story artist on such feature films as ''[[Dinosaur (movie)|Dinosaur]]'' (2000)', ''[[The Emperor's New Groove]]'', and ''[[Home on the Range (2004 film)|Home on the Range]]''. He served as Head of Story on ''[[Bambi II]]'' (2006) and directed ''[[Brother Bear 2]]'', which was nominated for an [[Annie Award]].
In 2006 Ben served as Head of Story on ''9'' (2009) produced by [[Focus Features]] and Tim Burton. He directed "[[Alpha and Omega (film)|Alpha and Omega]]" a 3-D computer animated feature; it ranks as Lionsgate's highest-grossing animated feature to date.
Ben received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Character Animation from the [[California Institute of the Arts]].
