'''''Pop Culture''''' is the debut studio album by American recording artist River Stumpf released on November 25, 2013 through Island Records in the United States. The album was produced by Doctor Fink, Ryan Tedder, Pharrell Williams, Ray Suen, Michael Bland, Tommy Barbarella, Sonny Thompson, and Gregg Alexander. The album marks Stumpf's debut studio effort in the music industry following an indefinite hiatus from his band River Stumpf and the Spooner Brothers in June 2013. The album was lead by the single "Penelope", which was released on September 3, 2013 and debuted at number 3 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, later peaking at number 2 and topping the Mainstream Pop Songs and Digital Songs charts. "In the Kitchen With the Lights On" was released the second radio single on November 5, 2013 and peaked at number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 and at number 9 on the Mainstream Pop Songs chart. The album spawned two promotionally released singles: "Skinny Dippin' in the Deep End" released on November 12 and "Runnin' Around" released on November 19, 2013, each peaking within the top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 and top 5 on the Digital Songs chart. The third radio single "Dear John", featuring indie recording artist Lorde, was released on December 10, 2013 peaking at number 10 on the Hot 100 becoming the album's second single to do so. Upon the album's release, it was critically acclaimed and was titled as a major departure from the sound of Stumpf's work in his band. It sold 420,000 copies within it's first week in retail peaking at number 2 on the U.S. Billboard 200, charting behind One Direction's album, ''Midnight Memories'' (2013) which topped with sales over 500,000 units in the United States.
The album was heavily inspired by 1980's disco and pop music. Depeche Mode, Michael Jackson, James Brown, Prince, and Pet Shop Boys were influences sonically for the album's vision and sound. Lyrically, the album was inspired by modern day pop and urban contemporary songs about political issues, partying, and deals with themes of love and lost love. The album guest features Lorde, Justin Timberlake, and Harry Styles and Lenno.

'''''Life After All''''' is the upcoming second studio album by American rock band Soundcheck set to be released in October 2015 through Fearless Records. The album was produced by Cameron Mizell, Justin Meldal-Johnsen, and David Bendeth and is a follow-up to the band's previous album, ''Draw My Thoughts'' (2012). The lead single "The Divine Zero" was released on June 21, 2015 accompanied with it's music video.
===Background===
Following extensive touring in support of the band's debut album, ''Draw My Thoughts'' (2012), the band began writing for their second album throughout the summer of 2013 on the Van's Warped Tour. The band began recording and production for the album in February 2014 with producer Cameron Mizell at Chango Studios in Orlando, Florida. Initially, the band recorded 10 songs with Mizell and planned on releasing their second album sometime in the fall of 2014. However, plans changed after the band toured as supporting acts on the Monumentour with Fall Out Boy and Paramore and the album was pushed back to a possible late 2014 release. In September and October 2014, it was reported that the band began recording more material for their second album in Glendale, Arizona, but this time around, with producers Justin Meldal-Johnsen (Paramore, Young the Giant, The Reveonattes) and David Bendeth (Papa Roach, Killswitch Engage, Underoath). The band finished recording for the album in early October and confirmed that the album was set to be released sometime in early 2015. In December 2014, it was confirmed that the album's title would be ''Life After All.'' On June 21, 2015, the band released their single "The Divine Zero", accompanied with it's music video, and announced that the album would be released in October 2015. The album will be the band's first release on Fearless Records following their departure with Epic Records.
In support of ''Life After All'', the band embarked on the Life After All North American Tour in March and concluded in June 2015 with Sleeping With Sirens, As it Is, and Slaves. It was announced on April 6, 2015, that the band would be performing on the main stage at the 2015 Van's Warped Tour. In September 2015, the band is set to embark on the European leg of their Life After All World Tour with supporting acts Dance Gavin Dance, Idlehands, and Moose Blood.
