Revision 5395149 of "Your Weather Today" on simplewiki'''Your Weather Today''' was a weather program on [[The Weather Channel]] that aired from 7-10 a.m. Eastern Time on weekdays. == Program history == In 2000, Your Weather Today premiered taking over Weather Center AM. The program was hosted by Heather Tesch and Marshall Sesse. For Your Weather Today, the Local on the 8s concept was revived and aired six times an hour. The Travel Desk was also showed. In 2008, Your Weather Today got a new logo as the channel was converting to high-definition. Between June 2 and August 12, all of the programs were broadcasting in high-definition. Sesse retired in November in the same year, he was replaced by Nicole Mitchell. In March 2009, Heather Tesch left for ''Day Planner'' and she was replaced by Kevin Robinson. Also, Jim Cantore joined the show from ''Evening Edition'' (which was also cancelled). On June 22, 2009, Stephanie Abrams and Mike Bettes started to anchor the show (they previously hosted ''Abrams and Bettes: Beyond the Forecast,'' and then after the show's cancellation on February 27, 2009, then ''Weather Center w/ Abrams and Bettes'' from March 2 to June 12, 2009). But Abrams also fills in for Al Roker on Today, Jen Carfagno and Eric Fisher are usually substitutes for Abrams. Your Weather Today debuted a new logo on April 5, 2010. It removed the "Abrams and Bettes" subbing, but it still said ''Your Weather Today with Abrams and Bettes'' on some cable providers. Also in 2010, Carfagno's appearances on the program have increased due to Bettes working on Vortex 2 and Abrams working on the second season of Weatherproof (this comes after the cancellation of ''Flick and the Forecast,'' which she had hosted). Chris Warren (who hosts Weather Center Live) began hosting as a fill-in if a second sub was needed. From May 9 to June 3, 2011, Mike Bettes went out for Vortex 2, but Stephanie Abrams remained in studio during Your Weather Today during "The Great Tornado Hunt", this was after the Vortex 2 project ended. On April 16, 2012, Your Weather Today debuted a new logo after 2 years. Stephanie Abrams moved to New York and she hosted from 7-9 a.m. ET. For the 9 a.m. hour, Mike Bettes was joined by Maria LaRosa, Jen Carfagno or Eric Fisher. On July 30, Abrams returned to Atlanta and she and Mike Bettes continued to host the show for all three hours. Later on August 13, Abrams moved back to New York and continued to host from 7-9 a.m. ET. On November 9, 2012, Your Weather Today aired their final broadcast after 12 years. It was replaced by ''[[Morning Rush (The Weather Channel)|Morning Rush]]'' starting on November 12, 2012.
