Sameer began his career as Regional Manager at Discovery Communications India (1998-2002) after which he was promoted as the Assistant Vice President at SET Discovery Pvt. Ltd. In UTV, Sameer managed UTV Broadcasting's movie channels -UTV Movies,World Movies and UTV Action along with the new UTV Action(Telugu) channel.He managed the International distribution of the UTV bouquet of channels as a part of his profile too. As the Business Head of UTV Sameer along with his team had premiered some of the latest & best of Hindi Blockbusters on UTV Movies as continuously kept on updating their library with the latest titles.
