== History ==
Renato Bisazza (1925-2012) founded Bisazza under the name Vetricolor in 1956 at Montecchio Maggiore near [[Vicenza]]. In 1956 [[Gualtiero Galmanini]] was the first [[architect]] to use Bisazza tiles on the outside of a building.{{fact}} The company changed its name in 1989 to Bisazza SpA. Today it is a luxury brand. Besides glass tiles, the company now produces tiles for floors made from wood, cement, and stone.
