==Activism==
===Non-political activism===
Juengling has advocated for increased literacy in the overall population, and started a queer men's book club in Portland in 2013 through the Cascade AIDS Project.<ref name=engaged /> Also in 2013, Juengling advocated against people watching the movie ''Ender's Game'', citing [[Orson Scott Card]]'s views on homosexuality and encouraging people to practice queer ethical consumerism.<ref name=endersgame>{{cite news|last1=Stevens|first1=Greg|title=Don’t boycott ‘Ender’s Game'; donate to the Trevor Project instead|url=http://gregstevens.com/2013/10/18/opinion-dont-boycott-enders-game-donate-to-the-trevor-project-instead/#comments|accessdate=26 June 2015|publisher=Greg Stevens|date=Oct 18, 2013}}</ref> The op-eds he wrote and overall stance "helped to raise GeeksOUT’s profile after their ‘Skip Ender’s Game’ campaign."<ref name=ethnicity /> Juengling then joined the GeeksOUT team, writing posts about queer-related media for their site.

Citing queer ethical consumerism again, Juengling has taken the position that people should not donate to the [[Salvation Army]] based on their policies relating to homosexual people.<ref name=skipbuckets>{{cite news|last1=Juengling|first1=Konrad|title=GUEST OPINION: WHY SKIPPING THE RED BUCKETS IS A GOOD THING|url=http://www.proudqueerbayarea.com/guest-opinion-skipping-red-buckets-good-thing/17797|accessdate=26 June 2015|publisher=PQ Monthly|date=Dec 18, 2013}}</ref>
