Sims has been [[marriage|married]] to David Patterson since July 10, 2010. The couple have a daughter Ava Patterson (b. August 2011).
Sims has since then changed her last name from Patterson back to Sims. August 1, 2018 the social media model has announced she is expecting a child with an retired Nba player Matt Barnes. 

Their second child, David Bernard Patterson III, was born November 6, 2012.
